In some countries, such as Japan and Korea, raw octopus is consumed as a delicacy, often served thinly sliced and seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil, and other seasonings. However, consuming raw octopus carries a risk of infection from bacteria or parasites, so it is important to ensure that it is properly handled, cleaned, and prepared before consumption.
